Examination copies are available to college professors or instructors seeking titles to review for adoption consideration. Please note that the policies outlined below apply to U.S. institutions only.
Requests must be made in writing on college letterhead stating the name and ISBN of the title. There is a $3.00 fee for paperbacks priced under $20.00 and 50% off the retail price for all hardcovers and paperbacks priced at or over $20.00. Examination copies are limited to ten per teacher per school year and can only be mailed to valid U.S. addresses.

Random House, Inc. is pleased to provide complimentary desk copies of any adopted required text for instructors at accredited colleges and universities.
One desk copy is available for every twenty copies ordered. However, Random House will honor requests with a minimum enrollment of ten students for seminars and graduate courses. If the class size falls below ten, examination copies are available for purchase at a nominal cost. Random House can not ship desk copies to residences: they must be mailed in care of your institution and to valid U.S. addresses only.
